On your very first visit (before you've selected a language), the app makes a request to a third-party IP geolocation API to detect your approximate region (State, Country) for the purpose of suggesting a relevant regional language. No precise location (GPS) is ever accessed.

Once a language is detected or you manually select one, no further geolocation requests are made. The detected language code (not your IP or location) is saved to local storage.
भारत News aggregates content from publicly available RSS feeds published by third-party news organisations. When you read an article and tap "Full Article", you are redirected to or shown the content from the original publisher's website. These external websites have their own privacy policies and may use tracking technologies.
We do not control and are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party news publishers.
The app uses your device's built-in Web Speech Synthesis API to read articles aloud. This processing occurs entirely on-device. No article text is transmitted to external servers for speech synthesis.
Our server caches RSS feed data for up to 5 minutes to reduce load on publisher servers. This cache contains only article headlines, links, and summaries sourced from public RSS feeds — no user data. Server logs may record standard HTTP request information (IP addresses, timestamps) for security and performance monitoring purposes. These logs are retained for up to 30 days.
भारत News does not display third-party advertisements and does not integrate any advertising SDKs (including Google AdMob, Meta Audience Network, etc.). There is no behavioral tracking or ad profiling.
This app does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. The app contains live news feeds which may include general news topics. The content rating for this app is Everyone. Parents are encouraged to supervise app usage by children.
Since we do not collect personal data, there is minimal security risk to user data. All communication between the app and our server uses HTTPS encryption. The server caches are purged automatically and contain only public news content.
